Q&A

What inspired you to become a therapist?

II have been drawn to helping people my whole life, and personal experiences as a child and adolescent definitely paved the path for me to become a therapist. My sister and I were raised by a single mom after our father's severe mental illness prevented him from being present in our lives. I learned to navigate loss and change and created stability through developing strong connections at school and with friends. I knew that as a therapist I could offer a safe space for people to find hope and feel empowered to build healthy lives and relationships.

What do you feel are your greatest strengths?

I believe that my greatest strengths are the ability to be flexible in new situations, to offer compassion, to build connection with all kinds of people, and create joyful moments with friends and family.

‍What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect to feel heard, safe and more hopeful for their future after sessions with me.
