Treatment that's proven to work

Multiple therapies can be used to treat trauma.
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is the gold standard and does not require re-exposure to the trauma in order to get better.

Cognitive Processing Therapy

CPT is the gold standard for PTSD treatment. It helps you identify and challenge the beliefs that keep you stuck — guilt, shame, hypervigilance. Studies show up to 90% of patients respond positively. You'll learn practical tools to reframe your thinking so you can function without constantly being on guard.
Additional treatments for PTSD
Prolonged Exposure (PE) is another first-line treatment. PE retrains your nervous system to handle what feels threatening. Through controlled exposure in and outside sessions, you reduce avoidance and take back control. It's uncomfortable — that's how you know it's working.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing)
A second-line treatment that helps your brain reprocess traumatic memories so they're less intrusive. Your therapist guides you through bilateral stimulation while you focus on the memory. Less talk, more processing, minimal homework.
